Tried it after a neighbor mentioned theirs. Picked the worst-hit spot in the garden and put the stake there. It looks better in the garden than I thought it would. Got the 2.0 to handle a bigger section of the yard. Stake holds up fine in the lawn. We used to find tracks every morning and that has eased up. Tbh it's done what we wanted.
