We have an older house and pests seem to love it, so I wanted to try something new. Put it in the basement near where we keep the tools. Plug-in setup is what I wanted, not another thing to remember. I like that it doesn't need batteries or anything weird. We weren't seeing the same signs after about ten days. Pretty solid for the price.
