Bought it because the kitchen had been stressing me out at night. Set it up in the kitchen close to where we'd seen activity. We have two cats and they haven't seemed bothered. It blends right in with the other plugs in the wall. Pantry has been calmer in the morning, which was the main goal. It's smaller than I expected which is a plus.
