Bought one for the back fence area and figured it was worth trying. Aimed it toward the side path where the activity was worst. It hasn't moved through some pretty heavy rain. Stake felt sturdy enough once it was in the dirt. I like that it doesn't need anything from me day to day. After the first week, the lawn felt under control. Yard feels easier to deal with overall.
