Tbh I just wanted to stop checking the yard every morning. Pushed the stake into the soil right next to the flower bed. Setup was nothing, just push the stake into the soil. Stake felt sturdy enough once it was in the dirt. Took maybe ten days to feel like a real difference. Not magic, but pretty solid after a few days.
