Wanted something that didn't involve traps or sprays around the kids. Plugged one into the kitchen and one into the basement. We have two cats and they haven't seemed bothered. Plug-in setup is what I wanted, not another thing to remember. Activity by the entry door has dropped off after a few days. Setup couldn't have been easier.
