I was tired of fixing the mulch every morning. Stuck it on the stake near the corner of the raised beds. Stake holds up fine in the lawn. It runs without bothering the neighbors at all. Took maybe ten days to feel like a real difference. Worth a try if your garden has the same problem ours did.
